Educator Spotlight:

Dr. Anita Smith and the Prosperity Global Financial Group
Dr. Anita Smith
The financial education program that I offer at Prosperity Global Financial Group is designed to empower individuals, families, employees, and organizations to take control of their financial future by providing comprehensive, practical, and personalized guidance on personal finance. My primary audience consists of corporate employees, faith-based communities, and individuals post-divorce or going through life transitions. The program is designed to address various financial challenges and provide strategies for building financial health and wealth.
Corporate Employees: I partner with companies to provide financial education workshops and seminars. These sessions help employees improve their financial literacy, make informed financial decisions, and reduce financial stress, leading to greater productivity at work.
Faith-Based Audiences: Through faith-centered workshops, I align personal finance principles with biblical teachings, guiding participants to manage their finances in ways that reflect their faith.
Post-Divorce Clients: For individuals navigating post-divorce financial challenges, I offer tailored programs to help them rebuild financial stability and create a new financial path forward.
Program Topics

Number of People Served: In corporate settings, I typically serve groups ranging from 20 to 100 participants per workshop. For faith-based groups and post-divorce clients, the workshops are often more intimate, with group sizes between 10 and 30 participants, allowing for deeper engagement and personalized support.
Methods of Delivery: The program is delivered through a combination of in-person workshops, webinars, and one-on-one coaching sessions. I also offer digital workbooks, templates, and resources to guide participants in implementing what they learn.
Success Measurement
Pre- and Post-Program Assessments: I use assessments before and after the program to measure participants’ improvement in financial literacy, budgeting skills, and overall financial confidence.
Participant Feedback: Gathering qualitative feedback through surveys helps me understand the impact of the program, allowing me to fine-tune future sessions.
Improved Financial Behavior: Success is also measured by behavioral changes, such as participants increasing their savings rate, reducing debt, or improving their credit scores.
Client Referrals: A key measure of success is the number of referrals from participants who found value in the program, signaling strong word-of-mouth recommendations.
One of the program’s major accomplishments is the lasting mindset shift participants experience. Many have described how understanding their relationship with money and shifting their money mindset has resulted in better financial habits. For post-divorce participants, the program has enabled successful transitions into financially stable, independent lives. Many have reported not only recovering from the financial setbacks of divorce but also excelling beyond their previous financial standing. They’ve created realistic budgets, restructured financial plans, and built new savings for retirement and long-term goals. Participants have reported feeling more empowered and confident in their financial decision-making after attending the program.

NFEC Resources
I utilize several resources from the National Financial Educators Council (NFEC) to enhance the quality and effectiveness of my financial education program, such as: financial literacy curriculum, pre-and-post assessment tools, training materials for different demographics: K-12, adults, retirees, etc. These resources have played a key role in shaping the content, structure, and delivery of my workshops and coaching sessions. NFEC’s evaluation resources allow me to consistently measure the success of my program through surveys, assessments, and feedback forms.
Growing Impact
My plan for growing the impact of my financial education program consists of expanding my corporate financial education offerings by partnering with more organizations, particularly those that prioritize employee wellness; creating a scalable, self-paced online financial education platform that allows participants to access my programs on-demand/24/7; organizing financial literacy conferences, retreats, and events to bring people together for immersive, high-impact financial education, growing my impact by increasing my social media presence through content marketing, educational videos, blog posts, and live webinars, and leveraging NFEC’s network and resources to stay updated on best practices, gain access to new financial education materials, and connect with other professionals in the financial literacy space.
