Cathrine Bena Thebe – Financial Professional & Financial Literacy Advocate
Personal Notes
My passion for financial literacy stems from my final year dissertation for my Bachelor of Finance degree at the University of Botswana. I undertook a dissertation entitled “The Factors Affecting The Development of an Emerging Capital Market: A Case of the Botswana Stock Exchange”. Through this dissertation I saw a glaring need for financial literacy in Botswana and this gave me the inspiration to read and research about financial literacy. I believe Botswana would be a better place if all citizens possessed the great power of financial literacy.
