During this process, we look forward to sharing more about our organization and getting to know you. Below is an outline of the full Exploratory and Onboarding process.
First Step – Schedule Initial 20 Minute Call with CEO.
Exploratory Phase
The exploratory phase gives you the opportunity to learn more about our organization and have an initial conversation with our executive team. Although this phase is structured, we are here to ensure that you get the information you need to make an informed decision about being an NFEC Advisory Board member. Process:
1) Personal Call with CEO. 20 minutes. Schedule Here.
2) Review NFEC Mission, Values, & Future. Three pages. Download Here.
3) Review Sample Board Agreement. Four pages. Download Sample Here.
*A final version will be emailed to you.
4) Complete Contact Information. Six questions. Click Here.
5) Sign Final Board Agreement. Will be emailed for your signature after step 4 is completed.
Onboarding Process
We strive to ensure a smooth onboarding process for our Advisory Board members. Our objective is to help you feel supported as we orient you to the organization and work together to grow the company and increase our social impact. Steps:
1) Formal Welcome Letter Mailed. No action required by you.
2) Email Introduction to Board Liaison. Your point of contact. No action required by you.
3) Upload Necessary Documents. Two items – click here
4) Call with CEO or COO – 30 minutes. More details on our future expansion.
*After this point, calls or email conversations are based on need and will provide enough lead time to accommodate your schedule.
5) Board Member Press Release. We will advise you in advance of the press release when all board members are in place. No action required by you.
