Steve Repak – Military Personal Finance Expert, Author & Financial Literacy Advocate
Personal Notes
When Steve Repak was growing up, his family didn’t have much money. After graduating high school, Steve enlisted in the Army. There, he was just like most people, spending everything he made, living paycheck to paycheck, and not saving. When he left the Army after 12 years of service, he had racked up more than $32,000 in credit card debt.
Through a contact he made in the military, he was offered a job in finance. By observing what his wealthy clients did differently from the ones how were struggling, he discovered that is isn’t how much you make but how you think about money that determines wealth. Once he began to change the way he thought about money, he was able to formulate his own plan to get out of debt and build his wealth. Steve has the desire to help others do the same.
