Personal Statement
I’ve always gotten a real kick out of helping people shift from just trying to make it…to actually making moves. Becoming a financial professional wasn’t about chasing titles or flexing knowledge – it was about knowing my work actually changes lives. Watching someone go from overwhelmed and stuck to confident and building? That’s the kind of fulfillment you don’t get just clocking in for any old job.
My drive for financial literacy started with the dream of freedom. Not just financial freedom – but the kind that shows up in how you move, how you breathe, how you rest at night. Tapping into the true essence of what freedom means made me start asking: What’s actually keeping me – and others – from reaching that? I’ve tasted that freedom. And let me tell you, it’s good. I want everybody else to know how good it tastes, too.
My mother said to me, “Treat people the way you’d want to be treated.” That stuck with me. And over time, it became clear: I’m not just here to explain what an index fund is – I’m here to make money feel possible. To help folks get out of financial quicksand without judging how they got there.
Starting Grace & Glory was my way of planting a flag. This isn’t just about dollars – it’s about direction. It’s about showing people that financial strategy doesn’t have to be boring or intimidating. It can be empowering, even fun (yes, fun, I said it). Being on the TFEC advisory board gives me the space to push that mission further – creating resources, sparking conversations, and helping folks realize that building wealth doesn’t require being perfect. Just being willing.
Because at the end of the day, I’m not some suit trying to talk over your head – I’m someone who genuinely wants to see you win. And if we’re gonna win, it starts with knowledge, community, and a little bit of Grace.
