Luis Palacios is an NFEC Certified Financial Education Instructor℠ and active-duty Air Force officer passionate about helping military families and families from diverse backgrounds achieve financial stability. Growing up in a low-income household, Luis experienced firsthand the economic challenges many families face. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Area Studies and a Master’s in Management and Leadership, which equipped him with the skills to help others overcome financial challenges. As an Air Force officer, Luis has seen the financial stress many service members and their families face, particularly those from diverse backgrounds. He became determined to help them take control of their finances and achieve their goals. Luis’s teaching style is practical and engaging. Luis uses real-life examples to help his students understand complex financial concepts. Luis specializes in working with military families and families from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds, providing them with the necessary resources to build a solid financial foundation. He believes financial literacy is critical to service members and their families’ success and well-being. Luis is passionate about empowering them with the knowledge and tools necessary to achieve financial stability. Luis is committed to continuing his work in this field and positively impacting the financial lives of those he works with. He believes everyone deserves access to financial education and resources, regardless of their background or socioeconomic status.
