I started star/cross+management after years of seeing abusive managers overcharge and under perform and self-destructive clients be allowed and enabled to destroy their very own support.

At s/c+m our philosophy is to educate and motivate. I am committed to teaching my clients to understand their finances; to understand the processes; and see the detailed information needed to make decisions about their personal and professional lives. The process of providing business management services, it’s our goal to educate our clients. We want to build a foundation of financial awareness so that our clients are able to make informed and knowledgeable decisions. We want them to ask questions and to be involved.

Today, professional athletes, entertainers and executive, like you, are not able to maintain their personal and professional financial record keeping. Both job and personal responsibilities require you to be away from home for extended periods of time or you may have more than one home and split your time in two different states in the off-season or in between projects. As a result, your personal financial responsibilities are not being managed accurately and timely. The solution is personal business management.

Mr. Miller, a native of Los Angeles, California, currently resides in Paradise Valley, Arizona. He has over 25 years experience as a Certified Public Accountant in business and tax services, and is an NFEC Certified Financial Education Instructor.

Through his consulting services, Jonathan is able to integrate his four core capabilities: strategic business planning, corporate structure, tax planning and compliance to provide you or you business with solutions that fit your specific need. Jonathan is also experienced working with CEO’s, Professional Athletes and Entertainers as a Business Manager.

Jonathan Miller was graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics; Accounting emphasis, with Honors, June 1986 and passed all four parts of the uniform CPA Examination in the top 5% of the nation in May 1986. From there he proceeded to work for Arthur Young and Co. in their audit department, including the audit of a large independent film studio.

Jonathan has a strong PROFESSIONAL commitment to healthcare which has grown stronger as the economic changes have forced physicians to look past their primary objective, that of providing care, to that of earning a living. Jonathan’s choice has led him to believe that he and his team of professionals can make a difference in the new healthcare economy as many clients move forward.

Jonathan also founded StarCross Management , Inc. a Phoenix based business management firm with accounting services provided by Jonathan Miller CPA, PC. StarCross Management has current focus on professional athletes with some additional clientele services in the Music, Television, Motion Picture and Commercial industries.

Jonathan has extensive experience in the Music and Publishing industry, including working with local start up bands as well as establish artists.
