The survey was designed by Edward Halteman, PhD. He is credited with revolutionizing the use of data for decision-making by introducing the use of web-based surveys. Dr. Halteman was an instrumental part of the NFEC team that conducted an international demand- and supply-side study which involved over 1000 face-to-face interviews. The programming is currently serving over 45,000 individuals and is projected to empower over 500,000 with financial knowledge.
